At Lightning, getting you the funds you need in a safe, secure way is the priority. Lightning has built the platform to be as secure as possible using established encryption technologies and authentication measures and using trusted, regulated technology providers where needed.
Lightning works best on certain selected browsers which some public computers do not support, unfortunately. See "I am struggling to use the Lightning portal" for details on browsers Lightning works with.
For your security, it is recommended that, if possible, you connect your online bank accounts to Lightning using a device that you or a trusted friend/family member own. You can use Lightning on a laptop, smartphone or tablet.
If you use a device you do not own, please remember to log out in the same way you would if you logged into your bank or sent an email on a device that was not your own.
