Using Lightning Reach to complete your verification

If you’ve applied for support from one of our partner organisations, you might receive an invite to use Lightning Reach to verify your application.


You’ll get an email with a secure link and simple steps to follow. You can also go directly to apply.lightningreach.org and log in using the same email address the invite was sent to.


The process is quick, safe, and secure.


What is Lightning Reach verification?

Most organisations use Lightning Reach for financial verification.


This means you’ll be asked to securely link your bank account(s) through Lightning Reach so the team reviewing your application can confirm your financial details safely.


In some cases, you may also be asked to complete identity verification, which confirms your name, date of birth, and address to help prevent fraud.


These checks are designed to make your application process faster and more secure – and they won’t affect your credit score.


Do I need to create a profile?

No – if you’ve been invited to complete verification, you don’t need to set up a full profile.
