What is a support match?
Lighting uses your profile to check if you are eligible to apply for any support available on our portal. If you meet the criteria set by the relevant organisation, then you can continue to apply to them.
A support match does not guarantee that your application will be successful, but it means you meet the criteria to apply.
How to view your support matches?
You can access your matches at any time from the dashboard.
What if there are no support matches?
Having no support matches means that there are no grants currently on our portal that you are eligible to apply for, based on the information provided. To make sure our matching process is accurate, we recommend that you provide as much accurate information as possible when completing your profile.
Choosing not to provide some information may lead to you missing out on potential matches. For example, if you don't include your full employment history, we won't be able to match you to industry or occupation specific grants.
We currently only have a limited number of grants available through Lightning. To see a broader range of grants that you may be able to apply to, we recommend the Turn2us grant search.
