  2. Navigate to the application manager from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click "Bulk actions" along the top bar.

Note: By default, the view will show "All" applications.

Available options in bulk actions

  • Support scheme: Use this dropdown to select a specific support scheme. This will display all applications linked to that scheme.
  • Status:Filter by the status of applications (e.g., submitted, started).
  • Search bar: Search for applicants by client name.

Applying filters

Filters allow you to refine your application list further by specific criteria.

  1. Click on "Filters" to open the filter options.
  2. You will see the following fields:
    • Column: Select a column to filter (e.g., client name, status, reference).
    • Operator: Choose a condition:
      • Equals
      • Does not equal
      • Starts with
      • Contains
    • Value: Enter the value you wish to filter based off what you have entered in Column.
  3. Use the "+" or "–" buttons to add or remove additional filters. This allows you to apply multiple filters simultaneously.

Example: Filter applications where:

  • Column is "Client name".
  • Operator contains "Started".
  • Value is "Alice"
  • This will display a refined list of matching applications.

Selecting applications to bulk update

To process multiple applications in bulk:

  1. Start by clicking the empty box to the left of the client name.
  2. If you want to select all applications in the view, click the box at the top of the "Client name" column.

Bulk updating application statuses

Once you select the applications, the status buttons (Approve, Reviewed, Decline, and Request more info) will become available at the top of the screen. This allows you to bulk update the statuses in just one click. You will also be able to mark applications as Inactive or Withdrawn

The functionality for bulk updates operates the same way as updating individual applications. For example, if you click Approve or Decline, you will still have the option to send a follow-up decision email to the applicants.
