Do I have to provide my bank details in order to receive a payment?


Yes.  If you are successful, your bank details will be removed from the Charis and Lightning Reach systems at the end of the scheme year.


If your application is unsuccessful your bank details will be removed from the Charis system at the time a rejection decision outcome is made.  


Unlike credit card details, your bank details cannot be used to take payments from your account. The bank account details are solely used so that Charis can make a payment.



When will the payment be made?


Payments will be made to your bank account (BACS) no later than 31 March 2024. 


We will write to you informing you of payment.



What happens if a BACS payment fails?


Charis will make a courtesy call to check and confirm correct bank details
