Charis Grants
Charis Grants administer the Park Homes Warm Home Discount (WHD) scheme on behalf of several energy companies. Charis, as they are known, have administered financial assistance schemes since 2003.
Funding
The Park Homes WHD scheme is funded by contributions made by energy suppliers.
Lightning Reach
This year, Charis’s Park Homes application form is being hosted on a partner portal called Lightning Reach. Lightning Reach specialises in helping people facing financial hardship to access support from energy providers, local authorities, housing associations and other organisations.
Initially, Lightning Reach will ask you a series of identification, household, employment and financial related questions. Upon completion of these, you will be prompted to fill out the Park Homes application form.
The value of this approach is that Lightning Reach will also determine your eligibility for other financial support such as grants, local schemes and discounted tariffs, in addition to a Park Homes Warm Home Discount payment.
