Emergency Support
Lambeth’s Emergency Support Scheme can help if you’re a resident facing hardship, a crisis, emergency or disaster, including struggling to pay bills or afford food. The scheme can help you by providing things like high street vouchers, food vouchers, fuel payments, second-hand furniture, refurbished white goods, a handy-man service, a removals and storage service.
Free School Meals
Free school meals are available to children whose parents or guardians can prove that they receive certain benefits.
Disabled Facilities Grant
If you’re disabled, and need to make improvements to your home, you may be able to get a grant from Lambeth Council. The grants are awarded to help adults and children with disabilities live as independently as possible.
Funeral Support
Lambeth Bereavement Services can advise you or act on your behalf offering the Lambeth Simple Cremation. The Lambeth Simple Cremation is a direct service arranged by the Lambeth team to assist those who may be constrained by budget or may wish for a simple, dignified funeral.
Green Homes Grant
Lambeth Council can deliver to you a government grant worth up to £10,000 to improve the energy efficiency of your home and reduce your monthly energy bills.
