Revoking access to banking information


If you wish to remove our access to your bank account information, most banks allow you to revoke access online or within their app.

If your bank does not enable this, please contact us or create a ticket with the subject ‘Revoke Access’ and state the bank name, account number and sort code of the account(s) you would like to have access revoked to.

Deleting your information from Lightning

You can request to delete your data at any time, although it is suggested that you wait until after you have received the outcome of your application.

If you would like to delete your data, please contact us or create a ticket with the subject  ‘Delete my Data’. In your email, please also specify what you would like deleted (e.g., data Lightning has on a particular bank account).

Deleting your information from an organisation you have applied to 

Once you apply for support, the relevant organisation will manage your information according to their own Privacy Policy. You should contact them directly if you would like them to delete your data.
